What is quality management?
Quality management is the totality of action taken to ensure quality is delivered i.e.
The right thing is done
The right thing is done the first time
The right thing is done every time
Thus ensuring your customer is satisfied
There are three elements that comprises quality management: Quality planning, quality control and quality improvement.
QUALITY PLANNING:
The first step in quality planning is to identify the customer and establish their requirements. The activities to meet their requirements are stated in addition to the applicable procedures, guidelines, standards, measurements, specifications and practices for such activities.
QUALITY CONTROL:
In quality control the final product or service is measured and compared with the requirements. Any shortfall or deviation is corrected. The two components QP and QC constitute Quality Assurance which aims at preventing serious failure or flaws.
QUALITY OBJECTIVES:
The company’s management quality objective is to provide services and products which are equal to none. But shall be in conformity with BS EN ISO.
